История Tahm Kench
Bilgewater’s docks are full of stories about strangers who bought a stranger a drink, told a joke, and were never seen again. Tahm Kench, the River King, is one explanation sailors give when a shipmate goes missing along the tide-worn piers of Bilgewater, a lawless port where pirates, monster hunters, and smugglers all rub shoulders and where fortunes can flip with a single tide.
Beneath the courtesy is something older and hungrier: a demon who moves through the mortal world in search of victims, feeding on suffering rather than gold or flesh. He carries himself with an exaggerated pride, as if every crooked deal were beneath him, yet that same swagger is the lure that draws in anyone who mistakes charm for safety. A flick of his tongue can drop a fully armored fighter from several strides away, long before they realize what has closed the distance.
What follows is worse than the sting. Being swallowed by Tahm Kench means falling into a bottomless space with almost no way back out, a fate his kit captures plainly: he plays as Tank and Support in the Top or Support role, running on Mana rather than any stolen vitality. His passive, An Acquired Taste, puts the weight of his own bulk behind his attacks, dealing more damage the higher his total Health climbs, and stacking further whenever he lands hits on champions. The rest of the toolkit mirrors the myth directly — Tongue Lash punishes anyone caught at range and heals him on a champion hit, Abyssal Dive lets him vanish and resurface beneath a crowd, Thick Skin banks the damage he shrugs off and converts it into a shield, and Devour is the ability that gives the legend its shape, swallowing a champion whole to either damage an enemy or protect an ally. Among the pirates, hunters, and swindlers who share his waters, including Gangplank, Miss Fortune, Fizz и Illaoi, Tahm Kench is the one whose true nature nobody can quite pin down, and that uncertainty is exactly how he prefers it.
