Sarah Fortune commands respect in Bilgewater the way few captains can: through equal measures of charm and menace. In a port defined by pirates, monster hunters and smugglers, she stands out for her striking looks, yet everyone who deals with her long enough learns to fear what lies beneath. She built her name as a bounty hunter, and the criminals of the harbor know that underestimating her calm exterior tends to end in gunfire.

That composure was forged in loss. As a child, Sarah watched the reaver king Gangplank kill her family, an event that shaped the rest of her life around a single goal. Years later she got her answer, rigging his flagship with explosives and setting it off while he was still standing on deck. The act made her a legend in Bilgewater twice over: once as a victim who refused to stay one, and once as the woman who proved that even a reaver king could be brought down by someone patient enough to wait for the right moment.

In battle, Fortune leans into that same patience and precision. Her passive, Love Tap, rewards her for spreading damage across new targets rather than hitting the same one repeatedly. Double Up sends a bullet through one foe into whoever stands behind them, while Strut lets her build speed when she isn’t under fire and burst into extra attack speed on command. Make It Rain floods an area with slowing gunfire, and Bullet Time turns her signature barrage into a cone capable of ending a fight in a few seconds.

Fortune plays out mostly as an ADC, with mid lane as her secondary option, and everything she does runs on mana rather than the shield or resourceless kits some marksmen use. Her survival depends on staying untouched: Strut only builds speed while she avoids damage, and losing that rhythm strips her mobility immediately, which is why opponents who close the distance treat her as a priority target in team fights. Landing Double Up on backline minions to bounce onto hidden enemies, and timing Love Tap between Strut’s cooldowns, are the small habits that separate a Fortune who controls a fight from one who never gets the chance.
