Sentinels began VCT Americas Stage 2 with a 2-1 victory over Cloud9. They won Summit 13-4, lost Haven 11-13 and closed Lotus 16-14 после овертайма.

Summit was the shortest map of the match. Sentinels built an early advantage and gave Cloud9 only four rounds before closing their own selection.
The nine-round margin put Sentinels one map ahead. It did not decide the series because Cloud9 было Haven next in the order.

Cortezia led the match for Sentinels
Cortezia recorded 61 kills, 47 deaths and 23 assists. He represented Sentinels and finished with the highest kill total in the series.
The correction matters because his statistics belong on the winning side. He was not part of Cloud9’s lineup in this match.

OXY took 14 first kills and suffered 17 first deaths, both the highest such totals in the series. V1c finished seven kills above his deaths and added 27 assists. Jackk produced 24 assists, while FireBallOps had 19 and Zellsis было 20.

The second map was much closer and ended 13-11 for Cloud9. That response mattered after the heavy first defeat.
The team slowed the series, found more opening value and forced Sentinels to defend across three sites rather than repeat the same comfortable reads.
The map order produced three different margins
Summit ended by nine rounds, Haven by two and Lotus by two after overtime. The scores show how the series moved from a one-sided opener to two close finishes.
Sentinels won the first and third maps. Cloud9 won the middle map, leaving the official series score at 2-1.
The final map reached 14-14 before Sentinels won the next two rounds. Overtime removes the safety of a large bank and asks each side to win on both attack and defence. One loose opening duel can decide the whole series.
