JDG Esports обыграли EDward Gaming на двух картах.

JDG Esports defeated EDward Gaming 2-0 in the lower bracket of VCT China Stage 2. The winners controlled Breeze before completing a closer Summit.

crownfisher led the series with 40 eliminations and 23 deaths. JDG remained ahead across both completed maps.

Breeze gave JDG the opening advantage

JDG reached thirteen rounds while EDward Gaming stopped at six on Breeze, seven-round margin gave the winners a stable start to the elimination match. Early round wins protected JDG’s economy and increased the number of complete purchases. EDward Gaming had fewer chances to build consecutive rounds after losing equipment. JDG closed Breeze at 13-6 after protecting its lead through the final rounds.

A 13-6 finish also reduced the pressure before Summit. JDG entered the next selection needing one more map rather than a complete series recovery. Breeze set the direction because JDG won seven more rounds than EDward Gaming. Early success gave the team enough credits for rifles and full utility in later rounds. EDG often had to rebuild after a lost purchase, which reduced the options available on the next attack. JDG also protected surviving weapons when a retake offered poor value. Those decisions preserved pressure without requiring every player to win a difficult duel. The six rounds collected by EDG showed several workable ideas, but not a sustained run. JDG reached the closing score before the economy could swing back. That controlled opener reduced the strain on the second map.

Summit produced the tighter contest

EDward Gaming improved on Summit and collected nine rounds. The four-round gap kept the map competitive through a longer middle phase. JDG still reached the final defensive and attacking positions with enough equipment.

The team avoided a long sequence of low-value purchases. EDward Gaming needed four additional rounds to force another map. JDG stopped that route by closing Summit at 13-9.

The second score shows a different pattern from Breeze. JDG won both maps, but Summit required more responses after EDward Gaming’s successful rounds. Summit produced a closer contest and forced JDG to respond during the middle rounds. EDG reached nine, so one failed defensive sequence could have changed the late economy. JDG avoided that danger by trading quickly around the first contact. A player lost near a site was often answered before EDG could reposition. The stronger trade rate helped JDG keep enough players alive for the next round. EDG’s improvement made the map more informative than the wide opener. JDG still closed at thirteen without giving away a long final run. Winning two different score patterns showed control under separate levels of pressure.

crownfisher supplied the leading total

crownfisher finished with 40 eliminations, 23 deaths and a series rating supported by 270 average combat score. His positive difference reached seventeen across the two completed maps. Yuicaw added 34 eliminations against 24 deaths. Those two positive records gave JDG reliable output in separate parts of the maps.

A leading total does not explain every round. Trades, plants and surviving weapons also helped JDG protect its economy. The individual figures still identify who converted the most direct fights. crownfisher remained productive during both the wide Breeze win and the closer Summit.

ZmjjKK kept EDward Gaming competitive

ZmjjKK recorded 40 eliminations for EDward Gaming across the two maps. His total matched crownfisher despite the 0-2 team result. He also died 31 times, leaving a smaller positive difference.

The comparison reflects how often EDward Gaming had to fight from difficult positions. One player cannot secure every trade or protect both sites. JDG created enough pressure around him to maintain the overall round lead.

The figures show that the defeat was not caused by a complete lack of individual output. The larger difference appeared in map control and converted rounds. crownfisher and Yuicaw supplied much of JDG’s direct fighting output. Their combined eliminations helped the team create openings on both maps. crownfisher finished with the highest positive difference in the series. Yuicaw supported that lead with another efficient record. EDG could not direct all utility toward one opponent because the threat came from several positions. ZmjjKK matched the leading elimination total for EDG and kept many rounds competitive. His work did not produce enough site control after the first duel. JDG won more of the exchanges that followed, which explains the wider team result.

The round total confirms JDG’s control

JDG won twenty-six rounds across the match. EDward Gaming finished with fifteen after combining six on Breeze and nine on Summit. Eleven rounds separated the teams in total. Most of that gap came from the opening map rather than the later selection. The 2-0 score reflects two map wins and a wider advantage in total rounds.

Breeze produced the larger margin, while Summit remained competitive for longer. The lower-bracket setting made every map decisive because the losing team left the stage. JDG’s twenty-six rounds came from two completed map wins. EDG gathered fifteen and needed another map victory to stay alive. The format rewards maps rather than one combined round table. JDG therefore advanced through consistent closing work on Breeze and Summit. Their next opponent can study two useful examples: a wide win and a tighter finish. JDG can also review the nine rounds conceded on Summit for weaker defensive sequences. The immediate record remains a two-map elimination victory over a major domestic rival.

JDG continue through the lower bracket

The victory keeps JDG active in the current bracket. EDward Gaming leave this part of the competition after the elimination loss. Lower-bracket matches provide no second defeat for recovery. JDG’s ability to close Summit prevented the risk of a deciding map. The next opponent can review both maps from this match. Breeze showed control, while Summit showed how JDG handled a closer score.

JDG won 2-0, while crownfisher finished with the strongest positive difference. Map vetoes shaped the contest before the first pistol round. Each team removed unwanted locations and accepted the final order. JDG then controlled Breeze and protected its advantage on Summit. EDG reduced the gap on the second map but still finished four rounds behind. Pistol rounds, anti-eco conversions and full purchases all contributed to both scores. Crownfisher ended the series with the strongest positive elimination difference. JDG won both maps and completed a 2-0 victory.
