Команда Fire Flux оправилась после неудачи на первой карте и одержала победу. Team Heretics 2-1 in the VCT EMEA Stage 2 play-ins. The match changed sharply after Summit.

Heretics won Summit 13-9 before Fire Flux took Sunset 13-2. A 13-9 victory on Ascent завершили возвращение.

Team Heretics won the key rounds on Summit

Summit began with several close attacks and late retakes. Team Heretics handled the final seconds better during the first map. Fire Flux remained within range and reached nine rounds. The team still allowed Heretics to protect small advantages after the spike went down. Heretics closed the map 13-9 and gained the first series point. Its spacing limited the value of Fire Flux utility during the last defensive rounds. The opening result did not reveal the change that followed. Fire Flux entered Sunset with a faster plan and much stronger first contacts.

Fire Flux won the opening rounds on Sunset and kept the economy advantage. Heretics rarely reached a complete purchase with every preferred weapon. Early information allowed Fire Flux to choose the correct plant area more often. The attack then arrived before Heretics could complete its rotations. Team Heretics secured only two rounds. Isolated successes did not develop into a run because Fire Flux answered on the next purchase. The map ended 13-2 and levelled the series. Fire Flux had changed both the pace and the quality of its return eliminations.

Ascent map was closer than Sunset

The final map was closer than Sunset. Heretics recovered its communication and challenged the central areas more consistently. Fire Flux still gained the stronger positions before the final entries into the plant area. The team forced defenders to reveal utility before committing the spike. Heretics reached nine rounds, matching its own winning total from Summit. Fire Flux then closed the remaining defence without allowing another recovery. Ascent ended 13-9 and completed the Fire Flux comeback. The result completed a comeback built on two very different map victories.

Kachoww recorded sixty-four eliminations across the three maps. The total reflected strong impact on Sunset and continued value during the Ascent finale. hezacoil added forty-three eliminations and helped control the first contacts. Fire Flux could therefore attack from more than one reliable position. Kachoww received effective support from the full lineup. Teammate utility created safer duels and immediate return eliminations after an entry. The complete lineup improved after Summit. The leading total became decisive because the surrounding structure also changed.

Team Heretics could not maintain its first-map pace

Team Heretics opened the match with reliable late-round decisions. Sunset removed that rhythm through early losses and repeated low-credit purchases. The team recovered some stability on Ascent. It still lacked enough consecutive rounds to rebuild pressure on Fire Flux.

A 13-2 map creates a large round difference, but the match still required a final map. Heretics had one more opportunity after the difficult second selection. Fire Flux controlled that opportunity at 13-9. The final result shows why one strong opening map did not decide the complete series.

Fire Flux built its largest round advantage on the Sunset карта

Fire Flux won thirty-five rounds across the complete series. Team Heretics collected twenty-four after taking the opening map. The eleven-round difference came mainly from Sunset. Fire Flux won that selection 13-2 and levelled the match immediately.

Ascent returned to a closer pattern. Heretics reached nine rounds before Fire Flux completed the comeback at 13-9. Kachoww recorded sixty-four eliminations across three maps. His output continued after the dominant second map and remained important on Ascent.

Fire Flux won the Sunset map by eleven rounds

Fire Flux won thirty-five rounds across the complete match. Team Heretics finished with twenty-four after leading the series on Summit. Eleven rounds separated the teams overall, and Sunset created the largest part of that gap. Ascent then offered the closer test required to confirm the comeback.

The totals explain why the match felt different after map one. Fire Flux did not merely edge the second selection before Ascent.

Ascent confirmed the comeback

Fire Flux entered Ascent with the match level after two very different maps. The final selection again produced a competitive round sequence. Heretics matched its nine-number of rounds from Summit. This time Fire Flux protected the lead during the closing defensive purchases.

The 13-9 result completed the recovery from the opening defeat. Sunset’s wide margin alone had only brought the teams level. Fire Flux therefore needed both forms of victory. One rapid response and one controlled finish produced the final 2-1 result.
